BonoLab is continuing DigiBlue as a recurring youth engagement initiative connecting creativity, sustainability, and global collaboration.
In 2026, DigiBlue will join Global Education Week, organised by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe. As part of the initiative, we are preparing an open educator package that includes the DigiBlue course, guidance for participation, invitations for students to submit digital stories, and opportunities for international virtual exchanges during the third week of November.
Join in as a collaborator
We are currently seeking international collaborators to help strengthen and expand the initiative. This could include improving the educator package, helping us reach schools and educators internationally, or offering mentoring time to participating schools and youth groups.
If you are interested in joining in, please write to Piret Liv Stern Dahl at piret@bonolab.com.
Digiblue in a nutshell
DigiBlue is built around the idea that young people should not only learn about global challenges, but also connect, create, and share perspectives across borders. Through digital storytelling and virtual exchange, students can explore themes related to oceans, sustainability, local environments, and future visions together.
Practicalities
The educator package will be published in the first week of June 2026, and participation is open internationally.
The initiative is aimed at youth aged 15 and older. The youth can submit digital stories in their chosen language, and virtual exchanges will be held in English in the third week of November 2026.
If your organisation, school, network, or community is interested in collaborating or participating, you can express your interest to receive the information package here:
